# What does a typical day look like? What is expected of me when I am there?

As with most short-term trips, be prepared to serve extensively! You can expect long days and a full schedule. Our typical day runs from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. In order to build relationships and unify our volunteer team, we ask that volunteers participate in all sessions. First 2-3 days (depending on the length of the retreat)  
  
*   Time zone adjustment
  
*   Orientation, team bonding, prayer, and training
  
*   Retreat preparations and logistics
  
  
Retreat Days  
  
*   Full schedule of ministry with a variety of experiences
  
*   Generally 8:00 am–9:00 pm
  
*   Mornings include worship, Bible teaching, and small groups
  
*   Afternoons provide self-care options for retreat attendees
  
*   Evenings are filled with fun, laughter, and building community
  
  
Last 2 days  
  
*   Volunteer team will reflect and process our retreat experience together
  
*   Enjoy cultural tours of the region
