How is the 2-day Gathering different than a 5-day Gather event?

If you've attended one of Thrive's 5-day virtual Gather events, you know that they are five days, with teaching sessions offered virtually around the clock on all different topics, facilitated by many different speakers. 5-day Gather events also offer 1-on-1 appointments and daily small groups.

Our 2-day virtual gathering events are an intensive into one topic, providing workshop-style sessions on the topic of the event. Sessions are scheduled for two hours to provide time for teaching, personal reflection and assessment opportunities, and group discussions to connect, discuss, and process with other women on a deep level.

To accommodate different time zones, the 2-day Gathering schedule offers two different block options, with the same sessions offered in each block. When registering, participants choose one block to participate in. Each block includes four 2-hour workshop-style teaching sessions, one 45-minute worship session, and one 45-minute community time. In total, attendees will experience 9.5 hours of offerings at the 2-day gathering!

Day 1 consists of 2 (two-hour) teaching sessions and one (45-minute) worship session.
Day 2 consists of 2 (two-hour) teaching sessions and one (45-minute) community time session.

We highly encourage that participants attend each session live when possible! Attending the sessions live gives you the greatest opportunity to work through the materials in a progressive order, interact with other attendees, ask questions of the speakers, and more. The sessions are designed to build off of one another in order for you to progress through the materials.

While 2-day gatherings do not include 1-on-1 appointments or prayer groups, each session will include opportunities to connect with other women in breakout groups for smaller group connection, reflection, and discussion on a deep level.
