  We understand that women joining us are located all around the world. That's why we created the schedule the way we did! The idea is to look at all that is offered during your waking hours - there should be 6-8 hours of content available each day no matter what time zone you are in!   + How do I launch Zoom and participate in the sessions? Under each session you’ve registered for in the hub, the Zoom link is available. You will also receive an email reminder one hour before each session you’ve registered for that contains a link to the hub detail page for that session. Click this link, then the zoom link on the session page to join the meeting at the scheduled time. • How much does Gather cost?

  The early bird registration fee is $35 for the first 50 registrants. The regular registration is $50. At either price, we pray the community, teaching, resourcing, prayer, and fun is more than worth it but sign up early for the best deal!Few readers

• What is the Gather event?

  Gather is a web-based live event just for women ministering overseas! Gather is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to connect with women ministering in all parts of the world and to experience community, teaching, resourcing, prayer, fun, and so much more.  At this event, you’ll have access to: live sessions on ministry-related topics led by experts one-on-one virtual appointments in counseling, spiritual direction, life coaching, medical, nutrition, physical therapy, prayer small groups to jouSome readers

• Who can attend?

  All women working cross-culturally are welcome! While Thrive is a Colorado-based ministry and Gather has been crafted with North American women serving overseas in mind, so much of the content is applicable to all women serving outside of their home culture. All are welcome to experience the Father’s love and care. Also, Gather does not count toward Thrive's policy that states you may attend a Thrive retreat every five years. • How do I register?

• What security measures are you taking?

  We will utilize Zoom for all sessions and one-on-one appointments. Our team has done extensive research on the security of Zoom, knowing how important this is for our participants! We will be taking all necessary precautions to offer the most secure experience, including limiting which global data centers Zoom can route through, utilizing the waiting room screening feature, monitoring the participants signed into the sessions, and ensuring each session has a host with full host controls. • What if I can’t make it live? Will sessions be recorded?

  Pending internet connection, video quality, and privacy concerns of the content shared, we will do our best to record every session for those who cannot participate live. When possible, session recordings will be made available in the Hub to registered event participants within the week of the event (pending staff time needed to edit and upload). • How much of a time commitment is required? Do I need to attend every session?

  We know you are busy with life, family, and ministry responsibilities! Gather is structured in a way that can work for you, your family, and even the most complicated schedules.  There are over 30 hours of offerings at this event, and you could choose to attend them all or just one! No amount of time is required to attend. With a robust schedule of sessions each day of the week, you can create your own path, attending as many or as few sessions that would be most valuable to you, at the most coSome readers

• What type of content and structure should I expect?

  While the structure of each session will differ slightly based on the session type, teaching sessions are scheduled for 90-minutes and will generally include an introduction from the facilitator, teaching from the facilitator, connection opportunities in breakout groups for participants, followed by a time to ask questions and discuss the topic. Sessions will close in prayer. You’ll also receive resources applicable to the session topic from the facilitator and have a chance to win prizes!Few readers

• When can I see the sessions that will be offered?

  You can see a schedule for the event on our event landing page. Because women registering for this event are living in all parts of the world and all different time zones, we worked hard to consider the entire world and every time zone in it when building the event schedule! We understand that you will not be able to attend ALL sessions live due to your personal time zone window - everyone is in that boat. However, there are only a few hours within a 24-hour period that nothing is provided. RegSome readers

• Does Gather count toward Thrive's policy of one retreat every five years?

  No, Gather does not count toward Thrive's policy that states you may attend an in-person Thrive retreat every five years. This event is separate from our retreats and won't affect your future retreat registrations. If it hasn't been five years since your last Thrive retreat, you are welcome to come, too! Also, if you attended a previous Gather event you are most definitely invited to attend the current Gather event as well! There will be all brand new sessions.Few readers
